Saponify

Sarah, the founder of Saponify had been suffering from dry skin and extreme eczema for years and after realizing her skin only responded well to natural products she developed her range of beautiful soaps.

We have been lucky enough to review a range of Saponify’s beautiful products; bath salts, soaps and baby bath tea bags.

Teangi Chambers Metal Sculpture

We’ve found an incredible artist that we’re very happy to introduce to our readers. Reviewing a sculpture isn’t easy as everyone has their own artistic tastes – but we’re happy to say Teangi Chambers tickled all our fancies!

Teangi carefully boxed up and sent us one of her mini owl sculptures that now takes pride of place in the Aussie Product Review office. The piece has taken on a character of it’s own and makes us smile each time we look at it – and isn’t that what true whimsical art is all about? He stands about 12cm tall and 14cm wide.

The Fairy Ring

This week we are reviewing the beautiful felt and wooden handmade toys from The Fairy Ring. The owner, Paisley, has created a wonderful website full of the most gorgeous handmade toys that are sure to be a huge hit for any child!

Paisley has been hand making dolls, toys, decorations and other items from wool, felt and other natural materials for 13 years. In addition to hand crafting the items on the fairy ring website, Paisley teaches craft and holds numerous workshops on felting techniques – even doing children’s parties.
She is actively involved in the local Rudolf Steiner (Waldorf) school community, having previously occupied positions in the executive committee and contributing to fund raising and other efforts. All of the dolls, toys and other items offered on this website are consistent with the broader philosophies of Rudolf Steiner education and will inspire truly imaginative, learning play.
