Since We Were Kids

Since We Were Kids had added a new product to their already great product range, the Psi Bands. Psi Bands, pronounced “Sigh Bands”, are acupressure wristbands for individuals who suffer from nausea. That makes this product great for morning sickness, motion/travel sickness and even people undergoing chemotherapy.

One of our reviewers travels a lot for work and suffers quite bad motion sickness; this was just the product for her.

‘I have always had the feeling of nausea while travelling, even on short distances. On some days I have felt so bad I have taken travel sickness tablets and that’s generally travelling from Brisbane to the Gold Coast, then I have to get back again. Allergy Riders

You probably haven’t heard of Allergy Riders just yet as they have only launched their website recently, but I am sure you will hear about and see plenty of Allergy Riders products around very soon! What is Allergy Riders I hear you asking….. Well, it is a fun and simple food labelling system.

Many children, (and adults), are now aware as to whether they have allergies to certain foods or derivatives of food; it may be nuts, eggs, dairy, gluten, etc. Plus, I find parents are also being mindful of other children when having sleepovers or birthday party’s by asking the parents “Is there anything the child is allergic to?” or “Are there any foods he/she cannot eat?” This is all great but when it comes to a party, children can feel awkward by asking these types of questions themselves or in some cases the child has to bring their own food. Well, Allergy Riders is here to save the day…. literally.

With their range of magnetic charts, Magnetic Moves aims to help your child develop independence and learn a sense of routine. These charts also assist the parents by creating a solution to help manage busy homes and busy schedules. We are reviewing the Magnetic Moves ‘My Toilet Chart’. This chart breaks down all the task involved and allows rewards for telling an adult or going to the toilet room rather than completing the whole task. We found this to be a very positive way of teaching a child to toilet train. Each step that was learnt was rewarded and then our reviewing parent went on to explain the next steps involved and showed her daughter the corresponding picture tile.

Inner-B has thought of everything that is needed in an organiser for a busy parent and has put it all together to create the Mum Organiser. As a mother, we all know how busy life is, juggling work, home and the family! Thankfully, the Mum Organiser is here to help.

You can organise just about every aspect of your life in the Mum Organiser with a great layout to the whole organiser. We have been lucky enough to review the Mum Organiser in the new colour of Turquoise. Starting with the folder, there are lots of slots on the inside of the cover for plastic cards or business cards and behind them there is a bigger compartment for paperwork. On the back cover there is a loop for a pen and another slot for yet more papers! The ring binder in the centre is very strong with a total of six rings. Specifically designed for the busy mother, we found this organiser durable enough to be thrown in your handbag or the backseat of the car to race to the next appointment. We found it to be great quality too and we absolutely love the style and colour of this Mum Organiser.

We were sent three delightful story sets namely, Kids Stuff, Girl Talk and Little Tackers. All are presented in small boxes with colourful, fun designed wrapping. As soon as we opened them we could see they were quality made, durable and intriguing! The reviewers, young and old all had a fun time making up stories – in fact over a couple of wines with the older girlfriends we heard some very creative story tellers! So much fun and definitely not just for the kids! These would make fun Christmas presents for friends and family – they’re a good size for posting too. Catnaps Pyjamas

Pyjamas; Kids spend all night in them. That works out at usually more than 12 hours a day, so they must be comfortable for them!

Catnaps was established in 1996 and has been operating at the Red Hill craft market and other markets in Victoria for over 10 years.

The Strongman long pjs we received at Aussie Product Review are fantastic pyjamas! These boy style pjs are grey marble with blue detailing and feature the Strongman print. They are a relaxed fit design, making them slightly roomier around the torso. Children will no longer be rolling around and getting twisted in these pjs! They are 100% cotton therefore allowing your child’s natural body heat to regulate its temperature in bed and by touch alone, you can feel the softness of these cotton pjs. Much More Than Scraps

While reviewing the AUTOSEAL® Kids Cup my friend caught a glimpse of the item and said, ‘Gee, this would have saved my couch last week!’ I thought about this, it would take, say, 2 seconds for the liquid to fall from a cup but in the AUTOSEAL® Kids Cup, in a split second the kids’ cup would have automatically sealed. The liquid would not have time to make it out of the bottle.

Fantastic, the end of spills forever! (I do mean forever because there are also adult sized water bottles too.)

Be Brave

This week’s review has been created by the ingenious ladies at BeBrave, Marie and Antoinette. The BeCool Wrap Box set was created after an experience when Marie’s son was injured at home in a treadmill accident. The cold pack was too big and uncomfortable for her little boy’s hand giving rise to what has turned into an amazing product and their business, BeBrave.

More than just a cold/hot gel pack, this box set comes with not just the BeCool Wrap and the gel pack but also the BeBrave Bear and character stickers. While Mum or Dad treats the injury, the injured can cuddle the BeBrave Bear to be comforted and then receive a sticker for being brave.
